In Alabama — a father and a son died when they crashed their pickup trucks into each other head-on early Saturday morning — around 4 am. The father, Jeff Brasher (50) was on his way to work to deliver bread while the son, Austin Brasher (22) was returning home from a party.
One of the trucks veered on the wrong lane and collided with the other. The father died on the scene while the son was transported to the hospital, but died at 9 am. Neither of them were wearing a seat belt.
It seems like one of the drivers, more likely the son (Austin), was under the influence of alcohol. Terrible incident. A joint funeral for both of them is planned on Wednesday afternoon.
