Intel Invests $7 Billion in Arizona Facility

February 8, 2017

This morning President Trump met with the CEO of Intel in the Oval Office. They announced that Intel plans to invest $7 billion to build a new manufacturing facility in Arizona that is expected to create 3,000 new jobs. Parts of the facility was built several years ago, but it never opened due to “market conditions.”

With the Trump administration’s promises to reduce tax and regulations on U.S. businesses — Intel felt it was a good opportunity to invest in the factory, which will build computer chips. So, there’ll be 3,000 new jobs over there.
