Severe Weather Kills at Least 20 People in Georgia and Mississippi

January 23, 2017

At least 16 people died last weekend in Georgia and four died in Mississippi from a series of dangerous storms and tornadoes — potentially more than 40 tornadoes hit the area. Seven of them were killed in a mobile-home park — where more than 20 mobile homes were ripped from their foundations and blown away. Pictures and video of the scene show complete devastation with everything flattened. There were mattresses that were on trees a half mile away. Currently many counties are under a state of emergency as clean-up begins. Very sad.
